After retiring from their successful careers as prosecutor and deputy police chief respectively, Sinunu-Towery and Anders have generously dedicated tremendous time and talent to NCIP working to exonerate innocent NCIP clients. They have also advocated for policy initiatives to protect the innocent and helped raise public awareness of wrongful convictions.

Luther Jones
Luther Jones was exonerated in February 2016 after 20 years in prison, wrongfully convicted. His story of exoneration, release and compensation encapsulates many aspects of the challenges of wrongful conviction and importance of innocence work.
